Celebrate the Chinese New Year with Yunnan Kitchen’s “interpretively Yunnan, stylistically New York” dinner

Yunnan Kitchen, the contemporary Chinese restaurant on the Lower East Side listed in the Michelin Guide as one of the city’s Bib Gourmands and boasting a star from The New York Times, is hosting a seven-course feast on Thursday, February 19, to usher in the Year of the Ram (or Sheep or Goat).
Tickets are available for $105 per guest, and there will be multiple seatings throughout the day.
Beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, guests are invited to celebrate the new year at Yunnan Kitchen with a menu that includes tea-smoked Buddhist-style chicken with Sichuan pickles, roasted peanuts, pepper, and salt; lamb and golden pumpkin dumplings; “Across the Bridge” noodles with quail egg, lobster and needle mushrooms; and more.
Dessert will feature sweet soy milk tapioca and “8 Treasure” oolong tea with red dates, lychee, and salted plum. Tiger Beer will be served throughout the meal.
