I took out the cherries, washed them and boiled them with 100 g of sugar for 15 minutes. When the sugar melted completely and the syrup thickened, I took out the cherries and let them cool well.

Meanwhile, I prepared the whipped cream, which I mixed, along with the lemon juice and vanilla essence. I added, little by little, beaten eggs (with the rest of the sugar), then the cherries and 2 tablespoons of syrup. I homogenized the composition and let it cool for a few hours.

We serve it in cups decorated with syrup and glazed cherries.

Enjoy your meal!

Delicious cherry syrup & # 8211 It goes well with a lot of cakes or as a topping for homemade ice cream. How good!

I don't know how you are, but I love cherries. They are juicy, sweet, fascinate you with their shade of ruby red and urge you to taste them to the point of refusal. They can be served fresh, in the form of jam, syrup, etc. In addition, they delight many tarts, cakes and pancakes. A culinary wonder!

And if you feel like a cherry-based dessert, we invite you to syrup. Here's how to prepare it.

Ingredients list: 2 cups filled with cherries (they must be fresh, no matter the variety), ¼ cup water and 3 tablespoons granulated sugar.

The cherries are washed with cold water, the seeds are removed using a sharp knife. If it is too heavy, then buy nuts with previously removed seeds. After that, add the cherries in a blender, mix until you get a puree.

After the cherry puree has reached consistency, put a pan on the fire, let it heat up slightly, then add the syrup, water and sugar.

The heat must be high, so that the sugar once melted gives the consistency of syrup. During this time the syrup boils. After that, when the syrup has been brought to the boil, reduce the heat to medium and leave it on the fire for another 10 minutes. Only now does the syrup begin to thicken.

Then the fire is stopped, the syrup is allowed to cool for 15-20 minutes, only then it can be poured into a jar and stored in the refrigerator for a week.

Cherry syrup can be used for pancakes, cakes, ice cream, etc. There are many dessert recipes based on cherry syrup. Why not, it can be served with waffles for breakfast. It will be a delicious breakfast.

Cherry Ice Cream - Recipes

Yesterday it was warmer than the day before, and today it was warmer than yesterday. and that's how we move on to "summer stuff", culinary of course. :)) One specific to summer is ice cream and, because I had the curiosity last year to look at the ingredients written on an ice cream box, I gave up buying ready-made, so I make it at home. That's right, it doesn't come out creamy and fluffy like the one on the market because I don't have a special ice cream machine, but it fully satisfies the need for something refreshing, plus I have the freedom to choose my flavors and I know it's natural, with ingredients whose names anyone knows and can pronounce.

N e c e s a r e:
200ml water
100g milk powder
1 sachet of mint tea
1 plic ness
2 teaspoons sugar.

P r e p a r a r e:
I boiled the water until it boiled. I put out the fire, put the mint envelope and let it infuse for 10 minutes.

I added sugar and ness (I had decaffeinated it so I could give it to the children, otherwise I would have put natural coffee) and mixed it until dissolved. I then added powdered milk.

I let it cool and put the ice cream in a plastic bowl in the freezer. After half an hour in the freezer I mixed well with a fork to break the ice crystals that form. I then repeated the operation hour by hour, two or three more times, until the ice cream is completely frozen. Sorry for the annoying repetition, but I couldn't find another expression, what to do if the ice cream freezes.
Light and refreshing, perfect for a hot day, and then, we don't even pay attention to the figure, to then have rebukes of conscience.

Baked Alaska

The most well-known and appreciated ice cream cake recipe, wrapped in a "quilt" of fluffy meringue. The original recipe is the creation of the Delmonico and New York City restaurant, to celebrate the purchase of the Alaska region by the United States in 1867.

Preheat the oven to 180C and bake a 20cm round tray with baking paper.

Beat with the mixer 3 tablespoons of sugar with 3 yolks, for 15 minutes. Add the vanilla extract and melted chocolate.

Separately, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and the remaining 3 tablespoons of sugar until you form a strong meringue. Incorporate the meringue into the chocolate mixture.

Pour the dough into the prepared tray and bake for a maximum of 20 minutes. Let the countertop cool on a grill.

Grease a round bowl with a capacity of 1.2 liters (and a round base of about 20 cm) and line it with plastic wrap. Layer the pistachio and cherry ice cream and put everything in the freezer until the ice cream hardens well (at least 2 hours)

Remove the ice cream from the freezer, place the baking tray on top of the dish and turn everything over on a plate. Put everything back in the freezer.

Meanwhile, prepare a meringue of 4 egg whites mixed with 200g of sugar and lemon juice in a metal bowl with double walls. Put everything on the fire and, stirring constantly, wait for the egg whites to heat up. Remove from the heat and beat with a mixer until you form a strong and glossy meringue, and the pot cools completely.

Take out the cake with ice cream and decorate it with pastry (with spirit) with meringue. Use a kitchen cake and burn the meringue on the surface.

If you don't have the cake, you can put the cake covered with meringue for 1-2 minutes at 250C to brown the meringue.

Strawberry and cherry ice cream

I have a memory of ice cream from the age of 3 and a little. I was in Firiza, at my grandparents' house. It was winter. One of my aunts made ice cream according to a method that has been lost for some time with electricity: the mixture of milk, egg, cocoa, sugar and I know what was in a pot dipped in a bowl of salt dipped in snow. Heston Blumenthal has precisely a scientific explanation of the phenomenon and the reaction that salt produces in combination with the friction of the pot with ice cream mixture on the one hand and the low temperature of the snow on the other. I know it sounds complicated but it's actually very simple. Anyway, until you think about it, I'll show you the ice cream I made two days ago after the sorbet method.

I crushed 300 grams of strawberries from my garden with 100 grams of black, juicy and sweet cherries (from the same garden). I used a vertical blender for this. I mixed 300 grams of cream with two tablespoons of honey and mashed fruits. Also with the blender. I got a kind of pretty thin fruit shake.

I poured it into a bowl and put it in the freezer. About two o'clock it began to freeze. I mixed in the bowl with a fork to crush the ice crystals. I repeated the operation after another two hours.

Then it was evening and although I could have already eaten the ice cream, I left it in the freezer until morning when I mixed it again with the fork in the bowl.

The ice cream, delicious, intense and beautifully colored, quite fine, matched well with yesterday. And I think it would match today.
